Surely the shower cap if it’s made from plastic would make the head sweat and create moisture…that’s why some home hair dye kits advice not to use a plastic shower cap while you leave it for the recommended time to develop..so the dye doesn’t dilute and run…5 or 6 days without washing your hair…itchy scalp, dull and bad smelling hair comes to mind…is this why Britains are known and are famous for only bathing once a week?

That's so true ❤I never thought of that sometimes when I put a hair mask or deep conditioner on I put my shower cap on to stop it dripping everywhere.

Yea but his Dayi g when your hair is dry but as an x hair stylist I’d imagine it would cause moisture and dampen the hair slightly so ???????
